ANTICA FERROVIA
Inaugurata il 21 giugno 1885, la ferrovia collegava Iseo a Brescia con quattro coppie di convogli giornalieri lungo i 25 km.
La linea aprì l’accesso all’alta valle con nuovi flussi di traffici, soprattutto merci, tanto che nel 1911 fu aggiunto un nuovo tratto, tra Iseo e Rovato, collegandola più facilmente con la linea Milano - Venezia e il resto del Paese. Il tronco tra Paderno e Iseo rimase in funzione fino agli anni Venti.
OLD RAILWAY - ENGLISH VERSION
Inaugurated on the 21st of June 1885, the railway connected Iseo to Brescia with four pairs of daily trains along the 25 km.
The line opened up access to the upper valley with new traffic flows, especially goods, so that a new section was added in 1911, between Iseo and Rovato, connecting it more easily with the Milan-Venice line and the rest of the country. The section between Paderno and Iseo remained in operation until the 1920s.
